The journey continues.

When *God* is with you, you’re with the Healer, the Helper, the Defender, the Rescuer, the Maker-Of-Everything-Into-Good. When you’re with God–you’re with the One who turns every mess into a miracle of good. *No matter what intends to harm you, God’s arms have you.* You.Can.Never.Be.Undone.You can’t fail when you’re Father has you–because success is simply, *always* staying with Him. -Ann Voskamp

To say I have, at times, doubted that we can do this..walk this journey God has called us to-is an understatement. And guess what?

We cant.

In our own strength and in our own might, we cannot follow through with this incredibly humbling journey He has called us to venture into. But. We have learned, by trial and error, by falling and getting back up, by desperately calling on the name of our Great God in times of peace and times of unrest, we are not doing this alone. Quite the opposite. We are in this together. God has gently taken us by the hand, time and time again, and continued to lead us on. In our times of weariness, He has poured out sweet rest. In our times of frustration, He has poured out encouragement. In our times of sadness, He has poured out His joy. He has taught us to lean into Him, to sit back against Him, to run full-force into His outstretched arms.

With less than one week left of training, we reflect back on the time we have had here at Beautiful Feet. There have been many challenges! From wearing the same clothes every day for a week, bucket baths, 15 meals straight of rice and beans, figuring out family living in very close quarters, learning to live in community 24-7, physical pain and ailments, emotional stretching, and most recently-a death in the family. Each one of us has grown in many ways and we are grateful for every moment we have had on this campus over the last 2 months! We have studied and been involved in language acquisition (Chinese Mandarin), history of missions, Gods heart for all nations, spiritual formation, ecclesiology, team building, community development, effective communication, and anthropology, personal discipleship-along with so much more.

Graduation takes place on Wed, Aug 31st and we will head back to our hometown soon after. We will be spending a few days at home, then leave for our next training-Appropriate Technology and Midwifery in developing nations! The details and many prayer requests will be shared in our next post in a few days. Wanted to give you all another idea of what our time here at Beautiful Feet looks like! We love you and will see many of you next week! Looking forward to it.

In Him,

Amie
